Q: Can you please tell us a little bit about yourself (personally and professionally)?
A: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Industrial Engineering both from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Q: How did you get started in this business?
A: In 1985 I was out of a job. My friends and family gave me seed money, I had loans from the City of St. Petersburg and SBA.
Q: Can you describe your customers / what type of customers do you have?
A: Some of our customers are Fortune 500 companies such as Philips, Tyco, Motorola, Honeywell, FedEx etc. along with some smaller companies
Q: What are some of your “keys to success” in building your customer base?
A: Innovative ideas to help the customer, customer focused (we have no business without satisfied (delighted) customers), sense of urgency, great Team Agora. We succeed only when our customers succeed.
Q: Is there anything about your business that you feel makes it special?
A: We are in a niche business, we have a great Team; they are self-starters, innovative in designing custom soft goods solutions for people who refuse to compromise quality or price. Our motto is “if it was easy, everybody will do it; hard is what makes it great.
Q: Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? In the next ten years?
A: We are working on changing our business to keep it relevant in years to come.
